Last Saturday October 23rd, I (Daniel Torres – Nimbuzz USA) had the opportunity to assist one of the best conferences of the year – BizTechDay!

BizTechDay, ” It is a business and technology conference for entrepreneurs who seek to learn inspiring business strategies, practical technology tools, and connect with the smartest people in the San Francisco and Silicon Valley area.”

Edith Yeung (middle in the picture above), the master mind behind this project, did an amazing job bringing entrepreneurs and key players in the same room, and making sure at the end of the conference everyone had a deck of new business cards, great knowledge, and new ideas to apply for their business.

We had a great time!

Last Saturday Sept 11th, I (Daniel Torres – Nimbuzz USA Team) joined the Teens in Tech MiniConference in San Francisco.

Nimbuzz had a booth and we were giving out tons of surprises, and I had a great fireside chat with Daniel Bru about “The Freedom to communicate”. (video will be coming soon, stay tuned!)

We also, had the opportunity to checkout other great speakers such as:

Brian Wong from Kipp, Ben Keighran from Chomp, Joey Primiani from Google, Adam Debreczeni from SaveStuff.org, Benjamin Goering from Livefyre, Alex Fedosseev from 4Home and many more!

We had a blast!

We want to thank Daniel Brusilowski and Sam Levin for putting this event together and for thinking of Nimbuzz to participate.

Back from the Google I/O 2010 conference we wanted to keep you guys in the loop on what was announced and show you some pictures and videos about what happened.

First off, we were massively impressed with the announcements and real time demos of Froyo (Android 2.2), and cannot wait to get our hands on it.  Besides Froyo, Google also announced Google TV, another milestone from our friends in Mountain View – absolutely impressive!

Second, a big “THANK YOU!” to Google, HTC, and Sprint for giving everyone a HTC Evo 4G from Sprint. Nimbuzz runs amazingly fast on it (video after the jump )

Nimbuzz will be attending at the International CTIA  Wireless conference from March 22– March 25.

The show is the premier wireless event representing a $1 trillion global marketplace that brings together the wireless and converged communications, wireless broadband, mobile web computing and data industries. International CTIA WIRELESS is where the wireless world meets each year for three days of intense business, learning and networking.

CTIA held the first wireless industry convention on May 28, 1985. Over the next 25 years, CTIA WIRELESS developed into and has remained the single exposition where the industry and world leaders convene to learn, explore, listen and lead our dynamic, constantly mobile life.
