Nimbuzz will be attending at the International CTIA  Wireless conference from March 22– March 25.

The show is the premier wireless event representing a $1 trillion global marketplace that brings together the wireless and converged communications, wireless broadband, mobile web computing and data industries. International CTIA WIRELESS is where the wireless world meets each year for three days of intense business, learning and networking.

CTIA held the first wireless industry convention on May 28, 1985. Over the next 25 years, CTIA WIRELESS developed into and has remained the single exposition where the industry and world leaders convene to learn, explore, listen and lead our dynamic, constantly mobile life.

I wonder if 10 or 15 years ago anyone thought of the necessity of turning on the TV and go online at the same time?

It seems that in a recent study by Nielsenwire,  ”Americans are getting into the habit of going online while watching television”.

This is just another sign of how people are multitasking, and interacting these days. Possessing the ability to share our opinion with our friends and the world anytime anywhere, we’ll always go to the World Wide Web.

As an example, Nielsen took two different major events such as the Superbowl and The Academy Awards. Check out the main sites Americans are visiting while they are watching the show.

The iPad will be available on April 3rd! Did you pre- order yours already?

It is getting really close to the long time awaited release, and everyone is talking about all the new awesome tools and features that this device can offer.

Well, based on an article by Environmental Working Group (EWG), it seems that cell phone models such as Motorola’s Droid, Blackberry Bold 9700, LG Chocolate Touch and HTC Nexus One by Google, have the highest exposure to cell phone radiation.

Foursquare, Gowalla, myTown, Cause World, and Whrrl 3 where do I check – in?

There seems to be a lot of noise about all these location based  apps, and now even more that SXSW is coming up. I’m pretty sure there still are a lot of people out there confused about this new language of check-ins, winning badges, founders, buying, and collecting rent vocabulary.

Whenever I try to tell people I know about ‘Foursquare” for example, the first reaction I get is “So whats the point, why do I want everyone to know where I am at all times?”. I guess that part I can only let you find out for yourself….

But for some others like me, who love “playing the game”, but don’t really want to check -in in 5 different apps every time go out for a cup of coffee, the question is, “which of these 5 apps I should use?

From the movie to your phone, everything you need to be an Alice hardcore fan!

There has been a lot buzz around the new movie from Walt Disney Alice in Wonderland, and with an opening weekend of $116.1 million make  this production as one of the biggest in history.

The movie features actors such as Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway along with the director Tim Burton make this cast a must see performance.

So if after watching the movie it seems that you cannot get enough from Alice, we found some really cool things that you can add to your phone, and take Wonderland everywhere you go.

“American teenagers are using 3,146 messages a month, which translates into more than 10 messages every hour of the month that they are not sleeping or in school”.

There is no doubt that cell phones are becoming an “essential” tool for many American teenagers. The interesting fact is that they are completely changing the idea of cell phones being devices mainly used by voice.

The amounts of text messaging have been increasing significantly since around 2007. American carriers offering unlimited text messaging for $10 to $20 also make text more affordable in the US, than other places around the world.
