It is a new year!

Which means, new beginnings, new projects, new goals, AND new phones of course. ;)

The mobile market is growing at an amazing speed, and only a few days in 2011, we’re already seeing tons of new handsets and devices coming out.

Here are some of the best new, coolest phones in case you are already thinking to upgrade.

Check out what HTC, LG, Samsung, Motorola and Sony have already lined up for you. Hint: “4G” seems to be the common denominator.

HTC EVO Shift 4G

  • 800Mhz CPU (Down from 1Ghz)

  • Sprint 3G/4G support (Same)

Look for this one to drop on January 9th for $150 on a 2-year contract.

HTC Inspire 4G

  • 4.3-inch display
  • Android 2.2 (Froyo),
  • HTC’s updated Sense UI
  • 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash
  • The Inspire 4G will also feature compatibility with AT&T’s HSPA+ “4G” network.
  • Nimbuzz support

The HTC Inspire 4G will launch in the first half of 2011 at an unknown price point.

Motorola ATRIX 4G

  • Dual-core 1GHz processor paired
  • 1GB of RAM
  • qHD high-resolution display
  • HSPA+ (4G) radio
  • Android 2.2.
  • Nimbuzz support

This device is schedule to launch in the first quarter of 2011, only for AT&T customers.

Samsung Infuse 4G

  • Next-generation Super-AMOLED Plus touchscreen display
  • 1.2 GHz processor
  • 4.5-inch display
  • 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and HD recording
  • 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera
  • Android 2.2.
  • Nimbuzz support for free calling and cross platform messaging

The device will launch in the second quarter of 2011.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc

  • 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
  • 4.2-inch 854 x 480-pixel touchscreen display
  • 8-megapixel camera with flash and HD video capture
  • Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS
  • Nimbuzz support

LG Optimus Black

  • Measuring just 9.2mm thick – it is supposed to be the “world’s thinnest smartphone “yet.
  • 2 megapixel front-facing camera
  • a 700 nit NOVA display
  • Android 2.2,  with “Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgrade capability”
  • Free messaging and free calling available
