  2. The galaxy tab is not a phone:
    1) How do I receive calls? Is it possible using Nimbuzz?
    2) There is no phone number associated to the galaxy tab, how does one then have a phone number to assign for Nimbuzz to use for dial out?

    Eugene Yefimov November 10th, 2010
  3. @Eugene – Thanks for your questions. Yes! you can make and receive phone calls on the Galaxy Tab with Nimbuzz – You can call other Nimbuzz, MSN, Google Talk, an Yahoo users.

If you already created an account for your mobile – you can use the same one and just have to log in – if you don’t you can register your cell phone number when it asks for it. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

  4. I saw where it says you can call other Nimbuzz, MSN, Google Talk and Yahoo users from the Galaxy Tab using Nimbuzz. But what about calling mobile phones and landlines as well. I am a TMobile user for the Galaxy Tab. I also have a google voice number. Can that be registered as the number for Nimbuzz?

We do not support Google Voice yet, but we will consider it, thanks for the suggestion.
If you are using the Android version of Nimbuzz you can use NimbuzzOut to place calls to phone numbers.
You can find more information about NimbuzzOut directly here:

  10. Hello Dan, I tried to make my call just like you told me how to dial the number and it wants to put +965 in front of my number I’m trying to dial. The samsung galaxy video how to dail did not show up either, just a video on advertising the galaxy tab.
