  1. Imo – they both suck. IPhone 4 screen too small, requires a bumper to correct attenuation issues, to closed of a system. Its old news.

    X10 is android wich is good.. but sony sucks due to the age of the OS 1.6? Cmon! They heavily mod the UI to hide it. Even tho they say you get 2.1 sometime in Q4 its still outdated. #fail

    Only device I can honestly recommend via AT&T is the new Samsung Captivate. Many reasons but I will just name a few. 1st bigger and crisper display than iPhone. 4″ Super AMOLED display clarity blows away apples so-called Retina Display. 2nd 16gb built in with the ability to add additional 32gb on top. Again blows away apple and X10 in the way of memory. Android 2.1 out of the box with a confirmed update from samsung usa to froyo 2.2 in a couple weeks DLNA support wich only X10 has, plus video out similar to the ipod video was. TouchWiz is customizable to your taste not just a drawer of app icons on your apple display. Etc… but this is just my opinion.
    If “my” contract were up? I would jump ship from at&t to sprints Epic 4G releasing next week. Same as captivate but with the addition of Front Facing Camera that is “NOT” limited to just WiFi (*cough – apple*) Led Flash and.. Slide out Hardware Keyboard.. it truly will be “EPIC” I would say the Samsung Epic 4G would be the “Most” productive phone out there even more so than EVO 4G that 1ghz HummingBird processor slaps A4, cortex & snapdragon processors silly.

  2. @jesse your are right, they both suck. What is happening with sony? Xperia have a great hardware but Android 1.6 is too old. Iphone 4 has a small screen, attenuation issues, partial multitasking, too expensive, etc…

    Hahahaha, yeah, its hilarious what happens to iOS4 when you open more than one of the limited mutitasking apps… it gets all bogged down.
    As for sony? I don’t know, they are used to making their own OS, symbian, or win mobile, but seriously MS fell behind big time. So I really think sony did what dell did and tried to go with everyone else on android, so now you see what a company does when it is deer in headlighs, you get crap like the x8 x10, or the just released dell aero with just 1.5 cupcake? Really? And the streak is all kinds of confusion, oversized phone? MID Tablet? Donut 1.6 only? Yeah its a total head scratcher. They need to learn from the pro’s about android! Starting with HTC! They know android the best!

    Dell, well they have a streak, this phone cover all your face when you are in a call, and have 1.6 version!

  5. In Addition, Iphone 4 is better!
    It have a nice hardware, nice UI, a lot of storage, great display. Actually, I do prefer Iphone 4 than Xperia X10.

  10. I really don’t see how you can actually determine a ‘winner’ from the 2. I think they are both good, although I prefer the Xperia X10.

    The Xperia X10, that has a bigger 4” screen, making easier to navigate and easier on the eyes whn watching vids. It has a whopping 8.1MP camera with ur basic cybershot features(smile detection, img stabilisation, etc).

    At the moment, there is no Multi-Touch bt SE has announced an update sumtime next year that will enable it on the X10.

    Another plus point is that it runs on Android, which is upgradable. As of now, most X10s run on 2.1, which is a lot better than the old 1.6. If SE releases 2.2, it’ll make the phone faster, and also support flash, something the iPhone 4 cant unless you jailbreak it. Oh and apps are free for the Android.

    Of course, the iPhone has its advantages, most distinct being is superior Retina Display which is the best screen out there. It also has slightly more RAM. Unfortunately, I really cant find any other plus-sides for the iPhone.

    I myself am using the Xperia X10, and I think its great. Acts as a phone, camera, media player, web browser when on the move, even as my GPS. Not saying that the iPhone 4 is bad though, its a great phone as well, I just couldn’t find a reason as to why I would spend extra bucks for a phone that is pretty much similar.

  11. xperia is way better cuz of the storage space,bigger screen,thinner,and just much faster + iphone is way to overrated
    one thing about the xperia is that it does not have as many apps as the iphone 4

  13. How do you figure the iphone wins? Xperia is expandable, moddable, and the app market requires no cards to access. The iphone is junk, and is merely a status symbol. The xperia with 2.2 is faster, better, and 10X the phone Steve Jobs could ever make. Wanna get jobbed? Buy an iphone. Want reliability, free music, free apps, a free market that can be run without a CONTRACT? Get a droid. There is no comparison. Android has this contest won hands down.
