The HTC Incredible features:

• 8GB of internal storage and has a microSD slot that handles cards up to 32GB.
• It has a  3.7-inch screen with 480 by 800 resolution, while the iPhone has a 3.5-inch screen that is 480 by 320.
• Includes multitouch for pinching and zooming on websites and photos.
• The built-in speaker is loud and clear.
• Has a 8 megapixel camera that takes great photos.
• It  records video at 800 by 480 pixels or 640 by 480

The cost of this phone is $199.99 after a $100 mail in rebate, in the form of a debit card. You will also need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk and an Email and web for smartphone plan. If you order the phone today it will be shipped to you by the last day of May so you are going to have to wait to get your hands on it for two more weeks.

What  had to do with more Android handsets sold in the U.S. during the first quarter of 2010 than Apple’s iPhone operating system?

GigaOm explains that “Android smartphones accounted for 28 percent of sales; the iPhone, just 21 percent because:

• Exclusivity on AT&T’s network limits the potential sales for Apple.
• The number of handset choices. Google allows for a near limitless number of handset variances for consumers to choose from.
• Pricing flexibility based on the hardware used and the features offered.

In my personal opinion I think the Incredible looks like a phone that I would buy. However,  for me it is still hard to think about switching  my iPhone for any new phone out there. Well, unless is the new iPhone 4G .
