Thanks Teens in Tech, We HaD A LOt of FuN!
Last Saturday, February 6th, Tobias and I (USA – Nimbuzz Team) joined the Teens in Tech conference in San Francisco.
Check out this video from Read Write Web to find out what kids think about the difference between young and old when it comes to technology.
We have to say, we learned so much from everyone who spoke at the conference, and we learned even more from every “kid” who came to the Nimbuzz booth.
There is something great about interacting with kids, and is that they don’t really have a filter using their words. They speak their mind and first thing that comes to their attention, which it can only be described as a gift, what you find in their honesty.
We had a blast!
Check out Scobelizer interviewing Nimbuzz after the jump.
We had the opportunity to share our space with great people like part of the Booyah Team, Pana.ma, and Intel. Tobias also, had the honor to give a quick demo to Scobelizer, and spread the word about the app. Here is the result!
We also wanted to thank everyone who made this event possible specially Daniel Brusilovsky and Sam Levin.
Thank all the Speakers for their hard work, and inspirational presentations.

Personally, one of my favorite ones was from Adam Debreczeni (@heyadam). He delivered an awesome analysis on what matters the most to Internet visitors, and what a clean and clear message should look like on any website . I embedded his presentation below in case you want to check it out.
Find out more of what was going on inside the “news room”, checking the twitter feed for #teensintechconf. Lots of comments, feedback, discussions, questions, and attendees you’ll get to embrace this way.
At the end of the day, around 5pm, after the event was over, and walking on the street to grab a cab out in the city, I told to myself…maybe I should practice a little more of that word called “fun” that these kids were talking about, and with this thought there was a phrase that kept ringing in my head… “Be young, do stupid”"
Here are some photos we wanted to share.
